Process To Harvest: Humility Invites “Help”

In this process outline it’s time to highlight 3 essential aspects of His “Help”!

Outline

1.  Hunger (Matthew 5:6; Psalm 63:1-8; Mt.4:4/ Luke 4:4

2.  Humility (Phil. 2:5-9; Psalm 10:17; 2 Chron 7:12-15)

3.  Help (Psalm 121:1-2; Romans 8:26-27)

• Healing and Wholeness (Luke 4:18; 1 Thes. 5:23-24)

• Heightening & the Awareness of It (Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Peter 5:6; Eph. 2:6-7)

• Honor  Psalm 147:19-11; (2 Timothy 2:1-21*)

4.  Harmony (Personal and Collective)(Acts 1:12-14; Rom. 15:5; Psalm 133; John 17:20-22; Eph. 4; 1 Cor. 12)

5. Harvest (Good & Plenty) (John 4:32-38; Acts 2:46-47; Luke 5:1-11)

Humility will attract, invite, pursue, and/or welcome the grace of God

As in previous posts, I want to emphasize that humility is the friend of help. Or the other way around. When we possess true humility, God truly releases divine “Help”. Matter of fact true “humility invites help” (1 Peter 5:6-7), or pursues its invitation (Hebrews 4:16). In reality, God sees our humility as an acceptance of His “Help”. His “Help” is the essential focus of this “Process To Harvest” post.

3. Help

• Healing and Wholeness (Luke 4:18; 1 Thes. 5:23-24)

In Luke 4:18~ “18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24~ “23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”

We must take our rightful seats

• Heightening & the Awareness of It (Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Peter 5:6; Eph. 2:6-7)

“ Ephesians 4:1-14~ “1 Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. 2 Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. 3 Always keep yourselves united in the Holy Spirit, and bind yourselves together with peace.4 We are all one body, we have the same Spirit, and we have all been called to the same glorious future. 5 There is only one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 and there is only one God and Father, who is over us all and in us all and living through us all. 7 However, he has given each one of us a special gift according to the generosity of Christ. 8 That is why the Scriptures say,“When he ascended to the heights,he led a crowd of captives and  gave gifts to his people.”*9 Notice that it says “he ascended.” This means that Christ first came down to the lowly world in which we live.* 10 The same one who came down is the one who ascended higher than all the heavens, so that his rule might fill the entire universe.11 He is the one who gave these gifts to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ, 13 until we come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature and full grown in the Lord, measuring up to the full stature of Christ.14 Then we will no longer be like children, forever changing our minds about what we believe because someone has told us something different or because someone has cleverly lied to us and made the lie sound like the truth. 15 Instead, we will hold to the truth in love, becoming more and more in every way like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16 Under his direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.”

“2 Peter 1:1-11~ 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 11 for so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

God is “Helping” us to become
Vessels Of Honor

• Honor  Psalm 147:19-11; (2 Timothy 2:1-21*)

God deserves our honor and He wants us to know that we are highly valuable to Him.

Psalm 147:10-11. Good News Translation

“10 His pleasure is not in strong horses nor his delight in brave soldiers; 11 but he takes pleasure in those who honor him, in those who trust in his constant love.”

2 Timothy 2:20-22 21st Century King James Version

20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth, and some to honor and some to dishonor.

21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified and meet for the Master’s use, and prepared for every good work.

22 Flee also youthful lusts; but follow righteousness, faith, charity, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.Read full chapter
