Day Four “More On Process”

Key Thoughts* Trust His Word, Don”t Look Back, Keep Moving- “We Can’t Stay”

MORE ON PROCESS

Continuing Without Wavering:

Concerning Wavering/ We must stop our Wavering (James 1:61 Cor. 10:1-12)

JAMES 1:6

*”6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.”

In 2016 I believe the Lord began to deal with all my wavering and unbelief. During this time, at times the  process was  really exciting as I would hear from the Lord, then it would become scary at times when I felt like I was alone in my waiting. The Holy Spirit was schooling me to hear and trust in the voice of the Lord as well as developing me in character, and in a prayer life of faith.

1 CORINTHIANS 10:1-12

*”1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 and did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 and did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. 5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. 8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. 9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. 10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. 11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

There are many negative things in this verse that has to die in the wilderness process. Instead, God’s people often allow the nature of “Egypt mentality” to rule their destiny.
This (wilderness) is where God wanted to do some spiritual scrubbing, and in the sea, the past has to die in baptism. God warns and admonishes us not to be like that. Come out of the waters, live on, and keep pressing through, because He is faithful to bring us through all of our trying moments. We just have to keep moving straight forward with Him.
Beloved, this where we have to check our heart”s desires. We have to hunger for what God has prepared for us and desire it so much that we refuse to stay in the same places that will ultimately destroy us if we don’t move when it’s time!
